Christopher Luntley on Thursday 2 April 1747 at about 5.00 pm in the parish of Nevern murdered James Webb stabbing him three times with a knife. (WALES 4/814/4).  Sentenced to death on 28 August.  The Indictment is filed with the Spring Session papers but his trial put off till August.  No reprieve traced.
